Application invited for Inland Vessel Crew Certification Programme

To ensure the safe transportation of Passengers by waterway transportation mode, School of Tourism Studies of Mahatma Gandhi University announces a skill development Certificate Programme titled ‘‘Inland Vessel Crew Certification Programme” (100hrs- 80 hrs theory and 20 hrs of practical) for the existing Masters, Engine Drivers, Lascars, Serang,and other floating staff at its Training Centre at Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills, Kottayam, Kerala. The programme is also ideal for freshers who like to establish a career in the inland vessel sector. The practical competency training will be held in house boats and motor boats at Kantharikadavu, which is 12 kms from Mahatma Gandhi University.The eligibility for application is a pass in SSLC(10^thor equivalent).
