The school library can match any well developed department libraries of this genre. It has a collection of 1500 books, 150 educational CD’s and DVD’s and more than 25 periodical related to areas of travel and tourism, Hospitality and Geography. (Lonely Planet, Discover India, National Geographic Traveller, Mathrubhoomi Yatra, Manorama Traveller etc.) The library also subscribes to a number of international journals.
From its infancy, the library has taken keen initiatives to develop in modern lines including the application of ICT in its activities and services. The Library is a fully automated system using the Open Source Software KOHA for the In- house Management. The Library supports the researchers in the field of tourism.
The library is open from 09:00 am to 5:00 pm on all working days except Saturdays and Public holidays.
To keep the students abreast of the latest in the computerized Reservation systems (CRS) and to improve their technical skills, the school has procured online reservation systems (GALILEO & AMADEUS) and software systems like Virtual Hotel, Virtual Travel Agency & Virtual Food & Beverage from Mundus Education Corporation, USA.
The communications Lab with individual systems and highly specialised digital teaching material and software of global standard helps to enhance Communication skills of the students and improve their ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
The SPSS lab enables the students to use SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science Research) software to investigate and study the tourism industry and to understand the direction of tourism research and methods. It focuses on designing questionnaires, collecting relevant data of tourism Industry and in using SPSS software for data analysis and interpretations.
The department, the classrooms and the staffroom is completely wi-fi enabled encouraging the students and faculty members to make use of internet sources for knowledge assimilation and dissemination. The school has procured computers to the ratio of 1:1 thereby enabling each student to make full uses of the resources available online.

The web-enabled University Library with its large collection of books, journals and e-journals, the online Theses Digital Library provides open access to its enviable collection of digitized Ph D dissertations. The publishing unit of the Library has brought out hundreds of titles in Malayalam, English and Hindi.
National Service Scheme, the Students’ Web Centre that provides round-the-clock web-support to the campus community, the coaching and placement services provided by the Department of Student Services and the University Employment Information and Guidance Bureau are available to the students all the time– all these work in tandem with the academic business transacted by the School, making the learning experience a holistic one.
